These Are The Best Cars In The Rennsport Reunion VII Parking Lot

The Rennsport Reunion VII, a spectacular event where Porsche enthusiasts gather, was not just about the races and legendary cars on the track. The parking lot itself was a treasure trove of automotive excellence, showcasing some of the best cars that have defined the brand’s legacy. If you’re a fan of German engineering and classic designs, here is a rundown of the best cars spotted at Rennsport Reunion VII.

Leading the pack was a stunning 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder that exuded a timeless allure. This iconic race car, with its low-slung body and rounded headlights, transported onlookers back to Porsche’s early days in motorsports. It was parked meticulously away from the bustling crowds, under the shade of an old oak tree—perfect for photographs.

Not far from the Spyder was a pristine 1967 Porsche 911S. This particular model, dressed in a rare and captivating shade of Irish Green, stood proudly amongst its peers. With its exquisite Fuchs wheels glinting in the sun, this 911S represented the essence of Porsche’s design evolution from its predecessors.

Sitting alongside modern 911s was a meticulously maintained 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo. Its eye-catching Guards Red paint job made it impossible to miss. This front-engine masterpiece highlighted an era when Porsche experimented boldly with design and mechanics, establishing benchmarks for other sports cars of its time.

Amidst these vintage beauties sat a relatively new beast—the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS. With its aggressive aerodynamic package and menacing roar, it attracted enthusiasts like moths to a flame. The GT2 RS reminded spectators that while Porsche pays homage to its past, it continues to push boundaries in the present.

And finally, tucked away at the edge of the lot was an ultra-rare Carrera GT—a supercar legend in its own right with just 1,270 units produced. Its silver paint shined brilliantly as fans gathered around to catch a glimpse of its V10 engine and manual transmission—a combination that speaks volumes about Porsche’s dedication to driving purity.

These five examples are mere highlights from an array that included dozens more drool-worthy Porsches. Whether air-cooled classics or water-cooled speed machines, each car represented milestones in automotive history and stood as testaments to why Porsche holds such an enduring appeal to car lovers around the world.
