‘The Order,’ Starring Jude Law, to Open Zurich Film Festival, Actor to Receive Golden Eye Award

The 18th Zurich Film Festival will kick off in style with the world premiere of “The Order,” starring the acclaimed Jude Law. The film, directed by Antonio Campos, will be screened on September 22nd, marking the festival’s official opening.

“The Order” delves into the complex world of a secret society and the sinister secrets they hold. Law portrays a charismatic but enigmatic professor who finds himself at the center of a dangerous conspiracy. The film promises to be a thrilling and suspenseful journey into the dark underbelly of power.

Adding to the excitement, the festival will honor Jude Law with the prestigious Golden Eye Award. This accolade recognizes outstanding achievements in film and reflects Law’s illustrious career spanning decades and encompassing diverse roles. The award ceremony will take place on September 23rd, following the film’s premiere.

“We are thrilled to have Jude Law grace the Zurich Film Festival with his presence,” said Christian Jungen, Artistic Director of the festival. “His talent and charisma are undeniable, and we are honored to present him with the Golden Eye Award.”

The Zurich Film Festival, known for its diverse programming showcasing both established and emerging talent, will host screenings, premieres, and industry events throughout its duration. With “The Order” and Jude Law’s presence, the festival promises to be a captivating and unforgettable celebration of cinema.
