The Best Places to Travel in March

March is an enticing time of year to satisfy the wanderlust in your soul. As winter thaws, revealing the sprouts of spring, choosing a destination can be an adventure in itself. From the cherry blossoms of Japan to the last hurrahs of European winter sports, here are some of the best places to travel in March.

Begin your journey by visiting Tokyo, Japan. The sight of cherry blossoms, or sakura, during the Hanami festival is nothing short of magical. Traverse through Ueno Park and bask under the delicate pink petals that have become a symbol of ephemeral beauty.

Switch gears and head to Valencia, Spain for Las Fallas. Fireworks, effigies, and festivities fill the streets in this explosive celebration of tradition and art. While there, savor the local paella and explore the city’s vibrant architectural landscape.

Nature enthusiasts should not miss the opportunity to explore Patagonia in March. At this time of year, you’ll dodge the peak tourist season yet enjoy comfortable temperatures ideal for trekking through Torres del Paine National Park or witnessing the stunning Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina.

If snow is still on your wish list before spring fully blossoms, hit the slopes in Whistler, Canada. This winter wonderland still offers powdery slopes for every skill level and winter walks among frosted trees.

For a tropical retreat, Bali beckons with its warm waters and tranquil beaches. Surfing in Kuta, cultural exploration in Ubud coupled with a visit to majestic temples like Tanah Lot make Bali a diverse destination.

Lastly, for those who seek quieter but equally enriching experiences, consider Charleston, South Carolina. Its antebellum charm is augmented by blooming azaleas and garden tours that delightfully herald the coming of spring.

Remember to check local travel advisories and health guidelines as travel conditions continue to evolve. No matter where you decide to go, March presents unique opportunities to embrace new cultures, revel in nature’s rebirth or simply unwind before the bustle of summer travels. Safe travels!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
