Meg Ryan has been a quintessential figure in the romantic comedy genre for decades, bringing charisma, relatability, and a pure charm to the big screen. If you’re planning a cozy night in and want it to be filled with laughter, romance, and memorable lines, dipping into Meg Ryan’s filmography is the way to go. Here are some of the best Meg Ryan movies that are sure to make your evening delightful.

1.When Harry Met Sally (1989) – Directed by Rob Reiner and written by Nora Ephron, this classic explores whether men and women can ever truly be just friends. The chemistry between Ryan’s Sally Albright and Billy Crystal’s Harry Burns is legendary, making it a must-watch.

2.Sleepless in Seattle (1993) – Another charming collaboration with Nora Ephron, this film teams Ryan up with Tom Hanks. It’s a warm tale of destiny and love that crosses the country—a perfect blend of hope and romance.

3.You’ve Got Mail (1998) – Reuniting with Tom Hanks in yet another delightful Nora Ephron project, Meg Ryan shines as Kathleen Kelly, who unknowingly falls in love with her business rival, played by Hanks. With its witty email exchanges and endearing performances, it’s quintessential ’90s romance.

4.French Kiss (1995) – Venturing into a combination of comedy and romance with a dash of adventure, Ryan plays Kate, who chases her straying fiancé to France only to find herself entangled with a charming crook played by Kevin Kline.

5.City of Angels (1998) – Showcasing her range in a more dramatic role than her usual rom-com charm, Ryan stars opposite Nicolas Cage in this touching tale about an angel who falls for a mortal woman.

6.Addicted to Love (1997) – This film offers a bit of an edgier take on love as Ryan’s character teams up with Matthew Broderick’s character to break up their exes’ new relationship. It’s an interesting twist on the romantic comedy theme.

7.Kate & Leopold (2001) – Meg Ryan dives into the world of time travel romance opposite Hugh Jackman as they play star-crossed lovers from different centuries trying to negotiate their impossible attraction.

Each one of these Meg Ryan classics brings its own flavor to your movie night: timeless laughter from ‘When Harry Met Sally’, dream-like romance in ‘Sleepless in Seattle’, passionate heart-tugs with ‘City of Angels’, or quirky charm in ‘French Kiss’. No matter which you choose – or if you marathon them all – Meg Ryan’s movies are sure to make your cozy night in one to remember.
