1. Mastering Mental Focus: Many staffers noted that the key to lowering scores in 2024 wasn’t just about swinging better but thinking better. They practiced mindfulness and concentration techniques which helped them stay present during each shot.

2. Custom Fitting Sessions: By getting clubs custom-fitted, our staffers saw significant improvements in their overall play. This personalized approach to their equipment helped with accuracy, distance, and comfort on the course.

3. Advanced Swing Analytics: Utilizing the latest technology in swing analysis, several GOLF staffers were able to dissect their swings in great detail. The data provided insights which guided specific improvements leading to more consistent play.

4. Strategic Course Management: Rather than trying for the heroic shot every time, staffers played smarter by mapping out their strategies on the course. This improved decision-making led to fewer penalty strokes and better scoring.

5. Enhanced Fitness Regimes: Incorporating golf-specific workout routines into their weekly schedules helped staffers build strength and flexibility, translating to more power and stability through their swings.

6. Refined Short Game Techniques: The short game was a major focus for improvement. Practicing putts from various distances and chips from different lies around the greens honed precision needed for saving or gaining strokes around the green.

7. Regular Coaching Sessions: Even experienced players on our team benefitted from regular coaching sessions. These sessions provided external feedback and allowed them to work systematically on weaknesses in their games.

8. Embracing Stat Tracking Apps: In 2024, GOLF staffers leaned heavily into using stat-tracking apps to understand patterns and trends in their game over time. This objective measure of performance helped them target specific areas for improvement.

These eight tips have been a game changer for our staff members at GOLF this past year, and we hope they can help you improve your game as well!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
