Himedere characters, known for their princess-like behavior and royal demeanor, are a staple in the JRPG genre. Here is a list of the top five himedere characters that have graced the world of JRPGs with their regal presence:

1.Princess Garnet from “Final Fantasy IX” – Also known as Dagger, she starts as a stereotypical princess but develops into a strong leader. Her journey from an overprotected royal to an independent figure makes her adorably himedere.

2.Lady Lillia Prower from “Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm” – Despite her noble status, she’s down-to-earth and frequently displays her high-maintenance expectations and princess behaviors. With a strong will and prideful air, Lillia personifies the himedere trope.

3.Elesis Sieghart from “Grand Chase” – As the red-haired knight and daughter of the Sieghart warriors, Elesis carries herself with an aristocratic charm mixed with unrelenting bravery, making her both admired and feared.

4.Princess Hilda from “The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky” – With her poised appearance and influential status in Liberl Kingdom, Hilda seamlessly blends elegance with authority while showing that true royalty comes with warmth and empathy towards others.

5.Maribelle from “Fire Emblem Awakening” – No one does himedere quite like Maribelle. This noble Ylissean mage is proud, dignified, and has an unshakable sense of justice—all while never failing to remind others of her high status.

Each of these characters embodies the himedere archetype in their own unique way within their respective JRPG worlds, offering players a dose of nobility amidst their epic adventures.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject.
