Stop Closing Apps on Your iPhone

When it comes to using our iPhones, many of us have developed the habit of constantly closing apps that we’re not currently using. We’ve been led to believe that doing so can help conserve battery life and boost device performance. However, recent reports suggest that closing apps on your iPhone may actually be doing more harm than good.

Firstly, closing apps on your iPhone has very little impact on your device’s battery life. In fact, it could actually drain your battery faster. This is because when you close an app, the iPhone has to spend energy to reload that app the next time you use it. So, if you constantly close and reopen apps, you may end up using more battery life than if you just left the apps running in the background.

Secondly, closing apps can have an adverse effect on your device’s performance. Every time you open an app, your iPhone has to load it from scratch. This takes a lot of energy, and closing apps simply means that more energy will be required to reload them later. Constantly closing and reopening apps can cause your iPhone to slow down, and even crash.

Another reason why you should stop closing apps on your iPhone is that it can impact your data usage. When you close an app and then reopen it, the app has to load any new data that has been added since the last time you used it. This means that you may end up using more cellular data than you would if you just left the app running in the background.

Finally, closing apps on your iPhone can be a major inconvenience. It takes time and effort to constantly swipe up to close apps, and you may end up accidentally closing an app that you actually want to use. Instead of closing apps, it’s better to simply switch between them using the App Switcher. This will save you time and effort, while also preventing any potential issues with your device’s performance.

In conclusion, there are many reasons why you should stop closing apps on your iPhone. It won’t save you battery life, it can harm your device’s performance, it can impact your data usage, and it’s simply an inconvenience. Instead of constantly closing apps, switch between them using the App Switcher, and let your iPhone do its thing. Your battery life, performance, and overall experience will thank you for it.
