Spread the love

1.”The Last of the Starks” (Season 8, Episode 4)

Potentially Turner’s finest hour as we see Sansa come full-circle; revealing Jon Snow’s true heritage to Tyrion Lannister thereby altering the trajectory of Westeros’s fate while asserting herself as not just a survivor but one of the most important political operatives in the Game of Thrones.

2.”Winterfell” (Season 8, Episode 1)

Here, Turner shines as she exemplifies Sansa’s learned political prowess; questioning Daenerys Targaryen’s motives and confidently asserting Winterfell’s authority despite external pressures – once just a pawn in their games now deftly playing her own game.

3.”The Dragon and the Wolf” (Season 7, Episode 7)

Sansa proves herself an adept ruler in this episode by sentencing Littlefinger to death after carefully outmaneuvering his attempts to divide her from Arya—showcasing her intellectual growth and independence as an effective leader.

4.”The Winds of Winter” (Season 6, Episode 10)

This episode underscores Sansa’s political savvy as she navigates post-battle politics with Jon Snow while coming into her own as Lady of Winterfell—a title she claims both by birthright and through sheer resilience throughout her harrowing journey.

5.”Battle of the Bastards” (Season 6, Episode 9)

Sansa’s strategic acumen shines when she secretly corresponds with Littlefinger to bring the Knights of the Vale at the pivotal moment during the battle, effectively saving Jon Snow and securing victory for House Stark.

6.”The Door” (Season 6, Episode 5)

A standout episode reveals Sansa’s assertive and commanding side as she confronts Littlefinger about his betrayal and begins taking charge of her destiny. Her powerful stance at this point solidifies her role as a force to be reckoned with.

7.”The Wars to Come” (Season 5, Episode 1)

As she evolves under Littlefinger’s tutelage, Sansa displays strength by agreeing to marry Ramsay Bolton—a critical decision that sets off a new chapter for her character while illustrating her willingness to take significant risks for power and revenge.

8.”The Mountain and the Viper” (Season 4, Episode 8)

Sansa exhibits her growing strategic mind by fabricating a story to protect Littlefinger after Lysa Arryn’s death, demonstrating how far she has come from a mere pawn in the games of others, to someone who understands the power of manipulation.

9.”Blackwater” (Season 2, Episode 9)

During the Battle of Blackwater, Sansa’s complex relationship with Cersei is highlighted alongside her emerging leadership qualities as she comforts the frightened noblewomen sequestered in Maegor’s Holdfast, proving she possesses dignity and grace under pressure.

10.”The Pointy End” (Season 1, Episode 8)

In this episode, Sophie Turner begins to truly showcase Sansa’s transformation from a naive girl with dreams of being a queen, to a survivor in the cutthroat world of Westeros. Captured and humiliated by the Lannisters, Sansa shows early signs of her cunning ability to navigate court politics.
