San Francisco, CA – Self-driving startup Applied Intuition is continuing its impressive trajectory, securing over $300 million in a recent secondary deal. This significant investment, reported by Bloomberg’s Katie Roof, allows existing shareholders and employees to cash out some of their stake in the $6 billion company.

Applied Intuition, a key player in the autonomous vehicle (AV) industry, focuses on developing software solutions that help carmakers and technology companies bring self-driving vehicles to market. Their platform enables the development, testing, and deployment of AVs, accelerating the pace of innovation in this rapidly growing sector.

This secondary deal highlights several key factors driving Applied Intuition’s success:

Strong Market Demand: The demand for autonomous vehicle technology continues to surge, with major players like Tesla, Waymo, and Cruise investing heavily in their development. Applied Intuition’s ability to provide crucial software solutions positions them as a vital partner in this race.

Lucrative Partnerships: Applied Intuition has secured partnerships with leading automotive manufacturers like Ford, Toyota, and Hyundai. These partnerships demonstrate their expertise and the value they bring to the table.

Employee Confidence: The participation of shareholders and employees in this secondary deal signifies their strong belief in the company’s future. This confidence reflects the positive work environment and the potential for long-term growth.

While the specifics of the deal and the investors involved remain undisclosed, this significant capital injection will undoubtedly fuel Applied Intuition’s future endeavors. The company can now leverage these funds for further product development, expansion into new markets, and strategic acquisitions.

This latest development further solidifies Applied Intuition’s position as a leading force in the self-driving industry. As the race to develop and deploy autonomous vehicles intensifies, their software solutions are poised to play a critical role in shaping the future of transportation.
