In today’s time, technology has revolutionized the way we spend our leisure time. Most of us use our smartphones for social networking, messaging, and entertainment, but what about the times when we have nothing to do and need to kill time? Well, it’s time to make the most out of your smartphone and discover ways to be productive while using it. Here are some productive ways to kill time with your smartphone.

1. Organize your daily routine

One of the best ways to kill time is to use your smartphone to organize your daily routine. Create a to-do list of everything you need to get done today or this week and organize it in a way that works for you. You can also use helpful apps like Todoist, Asana, or Trello to help you stay organized and on track.

2. Learn a new language

Why not spend your leisure time learning something new? Learning a new language can be a productive way to kill time, and there are plenty of language-learning apps to choose from. Apps like Duolingo, Babbel, and Rosetta Stone are great options for learning a new language and practicing it regularly.

3. Read books

If you’re an avid reader, you can use your smartphone to download e-books or audiobooks and read them on the go. Reading can be a great way to kill time, and it also helps to improve your cognitive skills, vocabulary, and memory.

4. Listen to podcasts

Podcasts are great for keeping you entertained while you’re on the go. They’re also easy to listen to on your smartphone. Whether you’re interested in politics, technology, or entertainment, there’s a podcast for everyone.

5. Learn a new skill

There are plenty of apps that can help you learn a new skill or hobby. Apps like Udemy, Skillshare, and Coursera offer online courses in various subjects like graphic design, programming, marketing, and photography. You can learn at your own pace and better yourself.

6. Get creative

If you’re the creative type, you can use your smartphone to create art, edit photos and videos, or write a blog post. There’s no limit to what you can do with your smartphone to express your creativity.

In conclusion, the smartphone is a fantastic tool that enables us to do more with our time. Rather than scrolling through social media feeds or binge-watching TV shows, it’s worth trying some of the above productive ways to make the most of your leisure time!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
