Introduction

Beelink has made a significant splash in the mini PC market with the release of their SER9 Pro, featuring the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor. Launched in late January 2025, this compact powerhouse aims to bring desktop-class performance and advanced AI capabilities to the mini PC form factor. With its cutting-edge processor, high-speed memory, and robust connectivity options, the SER9 Pro positions itself as a versatile solution for professionals, content creators, and enthusiasts alike.

Review

The star of the show in the Beelink SER9 Pro is undoubtedly the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor. This chip represents the latest in AMD’s AI-focused processors, featuring 10 cores and 20 threads based on the Zen 5 architecture. With a base clock of 2.0 GHz and boost speeds up to 5.0 GHz, the SER9 Pro delivers impressive multi-threaded performance that rivals many desktop systems.

What sets the Ryzen AI 9 365 apart is its integrated AI engine. The processor includes a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that delivers up to 50 TOPS of AI compute performance. When combined with the CPU and GPU capabilities, the total AI performance reaches an impressive 73 TOPS. This makes the SER9 Pro an excellent choice for tasks involving machine learning, AI-assisted content creation, and other AI-intensive workloads.

Graphics performance is handled by the integrated AMD Radeon 880M GPU, based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture. With 12 Compute Units running at up to 2900 MHz, the Radeon 880M provides capable graphics performance for a wide range of tasks, from video editing to light gaming. The GPU supports advanced features like hardware-accelerated ray tracing and variable rate shading, enhancing both performance and visual quality in supported applications.

Memory and storage options on the SER9 Pro are top-notch. The mini PC supports up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at an impressive 8000 MHz. This high-speed memory ensures quick data access and smooth multitasking, even with demanding applications. For storage, the SER9 Pro offers dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, allowing for fast SSD configurations with ample capacity for large files and applications.

One of the standout features of the SER9 Pro is its thermal design. Beelink has implemented what they call the MSC2.0 Cooling System, which combines a large copper heatsink with a quiet, efficient fan. This cooling solution allows the SER9 Pro to maintain its high performance even under sustained loads, with noise levels kept to a minimum. During our testing, the mini PC remained cool and quiet even during intensive tasks like video rendering and AI model training.

Connectivity is another strong suit of the SER9 Pro. It features Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for fast and reliable wireless connections. On the wired front, the mini PC includes two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports, allowing for high-speed network connections or the creation of a small home server setup. The array of ports is impressive, with multiple USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, USB4 ports with Thunderbolt compatibility, and HDMI 2.1 outputs supporting up to 8K resolution.

Beelink has also included some thoughtful additions to enhance the user experience. The SER9 Pro features built-in dual speakers, providing decent audio quality for a mini PC. There’s also an AI-enhanced microphone array with noise reduction capabilities, making the device suitable for video conferencing and voice commands. The inclusion of a MIC pickup noise reduction B1 AI chip further improves audio input quality.

The design of the SER9 Pro is sleek and professional, with a compact metal chassis that measures just 126 x 113 x 40mm. Despite its small size, the mini PC feels solid and well-built. Beelink offers the SER9 Pro in multiple color options, allowing users to choose a style that fits their setup or preference.

Conclusion

The Beelink SER9 Pro AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 Mini PC is an impressive piece of technology that brings high-end desktop performance and advanced AI capabilities to the mini PC form factor. Its combination of powerful processing, fast memory, and robust connectivity options make it suitable for a wide range of applications, from content creation and data analysis to AI development and even some gaming. While it may come at a premium price compared to some other mini PCs, the SER9 Pro justifies its cost with its cutting-edge technology and versatile feature set. For professionals, enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a compact yet powerful computing solution, the Beelink SER9 Pro is definitely worth considering. It represents a significant step forward in what’s possible in the mini PC space and sets a new standard for performance in a small package.
