Tapu Fini, the Water and Fairy-type guardian deity of Alola, has made its way into the Pokemon Go Raids. Known for its Mystical prowess, this Legendary Pokemon has become a sought-after addition to any Trainer’s roster. To help you successfully capture this elusive Pokemon, here’s a comprehensive Tapu Fini Raid guide complete with the best counters, weaknesses, and moveset.

Weaknesses:

As a Water and Fairy-type Pokemon, Tapu Fini is vulnerable to Electric, Grass, and Poison-type moves. Among these three types, Electric moves will often prove to be the most effective due to their strong neutral damage against multiple popular dual-type Water and Fairy Pokemon.

Best Counters:

1. Zekrom – Equipped with Charge Beam and Wild Charge moveset, Zekrom becomes an ideal counter due to its powerful Electric damage output. Besides having strong STAB (Same-Type Attack Bonus) moves, it resists Water-type attacks making it a highly valuable addition in Tapu Fini Raids.

2. Electivire – With Thunder Shock and Wild Charge as its recommended moveset, Electivire can deal significant damage to Tapu Fini. Although it may not resist Water-type attacks like Zekrom does, it compensates through its high DPS (Damage per Second).

3. Roserade – Utilizing Razor Leaf and Sludge Bomb as its preferred moveset, Roserade excels in dealing Poison-type damage. While being resistant to Fairy-type attacks makes it even more useful in this raid scenario.

4. Thundurus (Therian Forme) – This Electric Flying-type Pokemon benefits from Volt Switch and Thunderbolt as its attacking moveset. Even though it doesn’t have a resistance to Water-type attacks like some of its counterparts, Thundurus offers impressive DPS to help you emerge victorious in Tapu Fini Raids.

5. Venusaur – With Vine Whip and Frenzy Plant as its moveset, Venusaur becomes a highly effective Grass-type counter against Tapu Fini. Its dual typing of Grass and Poison grants it resistance to Fairy-type attacks, making it an excellent choice for the raid battle.

Tapu Fini’s Moveset:

Tapu Fini’s potential moveset consists of fast, charge, and defensive moves:

Fast Moves:

– Waterfall (Water)

– Extrasensory (Psychic)

Charge Moves:

– Surf (Water)

– Hydro Pump (Water)

– Moonblast (Fairy)

– Blizzard (Ice)

Defensive Move:

– Misty Terrain (Fairy)

Considering this information on Tapu Fini’s weaknesses, counters, and movesets is vital for planning a successful raid strategy. Gathering a team with powerful Electric, Grass, or Poison-type Pokemon will improve your chances of capturing this Legendary Pokemon. So grab your device and join your fellow Trainers in the quest to add Tapu Fini to your growing Pokemon Go collection!
