Introduction:

Mega Alakazam has arrived in Pokemon Go, and trainers worldwide are eager to challenge this powerful psychic-type Pokemon in raid battles. With high attack and speed stats, Mega Alakazam can be a real challenge for even experienced players. In this guide, we’ll dive into the best counters, weaknesses, and moveset to help you defeat Mega Alakazam in Pokemon Go Raid Battles.

Weaknesses:

Mega Alakazam is a pure psychic-type Pokemon with three main weaknesses: Bug, Ghost, and Dark-types. Exploiting these weaknesses is the key to success when battling Mega Alakazam. It’s essential to build your team around these types to maximize resistance against its strong psychic attacks.

Best Counters:

1. Darkrai: Darkrai leads the pack with its signature Dark-type moves like Snarl and Shadow Ball. Its high attack stat makes it an exceptional choice against Mega Alakazam, dishing out substantial damage.

2. Gengar: Thanks to its dual Ghost/Poison typing, Gengar has immunity to normal and fighting-type moves while being resistant to Psychic attacks. Employing Lick or Shadow Claw as fast moves and Shadow Ball as a charged move can lead to quick victory against this psychic powerhouse.

3. Tyranitar: This rock/dark-type Pokemon is an excellent choice against Mega Alakazam due to its solid resistance and powerful dark moves like Bite or Smack Down combined with Crunch or Stone Edge.

4. Weavile: Sporting great attack stats and both Ice/Dark-typing, Weavile can deal serious damage using Snarl or Ice Shard combined with Foul Play or Avalanche.

5. Chandelure: As a Ghost/Fire-type, Chandelure is resistant to psychic-type moves and performs well with Hex or Fire Spin as fast moves and Shadow Ball as a charged move.

6. Honchkrow: The Dark/Flying-type Honchkrow rounds up our list of best counters with its Snarl and Foul Play, taking advantage of Mega Alakazam’s weaknesses while offering decent resistance.

Mega Alakazam Moveset:

Mega Alakazam boasts an impressive moveset that includes:

– Fast moves: Psycho Cut, Confusion

– Charged moves: Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball

When facing Mega Alakazam, expect a formidable challenge. However, by forming the right team and focusing on the Pokemon’s weaknesses, you’ll find success in defeating this fearsome foe.

Conclusion:

With this guide to the best counters, weaknesses, and moveset for Mega Alakazam in Pokemon Go raids, you’ll be well-prepared to face this psychic juggernaut. Assemble your team according to the suggested counters and strategies mentioned above, and you’ll be one step closer to capturing your own Mega Alakazam. Good luck, trainers!
