If you can’t find a suitable one, there’s no need to worry, as we will provide you with all the vital information and resources you need to make an informed choice. Take a look at our list given below.

Brian Cleary’s “The Mission of Addition”

This book begins by defining what addition is and continues to have several pages populated with entertaining cartoons and word problems that encourage mathematical fluency and mastery.

Pat Mora’s “Uno, Dos, Tres: One Two Three”

This counting book is available in multiple languages and uses stunning illustrations related to Mexican culture. The use of this delightful book will give children the chance to count and spot numbers.

Brian Cleary’s “The Action of Subtraction”

This children’s book lucidly elucidates what subtraction is, after which it proceeds to offer examples through appealing and amusing rhyming stories. Thanks to this book’s childishness, even math-averse students will find it quite engaging.

Judy Sierra’s “What Time Is It, Mr. Crocodile?”

This book has a fun story based on a starving crocodile who has designed a timetable for his meals. Every drawing consists of a clock, which teaches children the basics of telling time.

Joan Horton’s “Math Attack!”

Children will find it easy to associate with the chief character’s nervousness with the multiplication tables. This book’s memorable and simple rhymes are sure to engage your children and boost their fluency in mathematics.

Cindy Neuschwander’s “Sir Cumference and the Isle of Immeter”

This geometry storybook introduces children to the concepts of the area as well as the perimeter. In addition, the author has created a complete Sir Cumference series that has several geometry-themed books to make mathematics engaging and stimulating for young readers.

Loreen Leedy’s “Measuring Penny”

This appealing book educates children about the different units of measurement. The protagonist of this book is Lisa, who has a task that involves her computing numerous items in different ways. To finish the task, she starts measuring her dog Penny using various modes and learns a lot about measuring in a fun way and even about her dog.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
