Omega Global Media, known for its diverse and captivating storytelling, has acquired the rights to “Fairytale Detective,” a compelling crime drama inspired by the imaginative world of Hans Christian Andersen. The series, set to be a co-production between Omega Global Media and an as-yet-unnamed production partner, promises to be a unique blend of classic fairy tales and contemporary crime investigation.

The story follows Detective Astrid, a brilliant and unconventional investigator with a penchant for finding clues in the most unexpected places. Inspired by her childhood fascination with Andersen’s stories, Astrid sees parallels between the dark undercurrents of fairy tales and the real-life crimes she investigates. As she delves into cases that appear straight out of a twisted fairytale, Astrid navigates a world where reality and fantasy collide, forcing her to confront her own demons and embrace the magic within her.

The production team is currently searching for a leading actress to portray Astrid, with casting calls expected to commence soon. The series is slated to be filmed  with a release date to be announced.
