Nick Offerman Sings ‘Proud to Be a Kamala Man,’ Because Trump, JD Vance ‘Are F—kin’ Weird’

Actor and comedian Nick Offerman, known for his role as Ron Swanson on “Parks and Recreation,” has once again displayed his unapologetic political views, this time with a satirical take on the current political landscape.

During a recent stand-up routine, Offerman belted out a parody of the patriotic anthem “Proud to Be an American,” replacing the original lyrics with a tribute to Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I’m proud to be a Kamala man, I’m proud to be a Kamala man,” he sang, before launching into a humorous critique of the political figures he considers “weird.”

Offerman specifically targeted Donald Trump and Ohio Senate candidate JD Vance, the author of “Hillbilly Elegy,” who recently drew criticism for a video of him claiming “we have to be willing to kill people.”

“Those two guys, they’re just f—kin’ weird,” Offerman quipped, drawing laughter from the audience.

The comedian’s performance highlights a growing trend of celebrities using their platforms to express their political views, often with a comedic edge. While some may criticize Offerman for bringing politics into his stand-up act, others see it as a refreshing and necessary commentary on the current political climate.

Offerman’s unapologetic stance and humor have resonated with many, particularly those who share his progressive political views. His willingness to tackle controversial topics with wit and honesty has solidified his reputation as a voice of reason and dissent.

It remains to be seen whether Offerman’s political satire will have a tangible impact on the political landscape, but it undoubtedly serves as a reminder that humor can be a powerful tool for social commentary and change.
