The iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max are undoubtedly two of the best smartphones available in the market currently. With their exceptional camera quality, impeccable display, and a range of other features, it can be difficult to decide which one to buy. Therefore, in this article, we will help you compare the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max to make an informed decision.

Display:

The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a slightly larger display, measuring 6.7 inches, and a higher resolution compared to the iPhone 12 Pro, which has a 6.1-inch screen. The Max version features a Super Retina XDR OLED display, which offers greater brightness levels and a better contrast ratio than the Pro version. However, the difference in size might not be a priority for everyone, and the Pro version still has an excellent display.

Camera:

One of the key differences between these two phones is the camera system. Both models feature a triple-lens setup that includes a primary 12-megapixel wide lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. However, the iPhone 12 Pro Max has a larger main sensor and a longer telephoto lens, which allows for better low-light photography and more zoom capabilities. Additionally, the Pro Max has a new feature called sensor shift stabilization which offers higher stability when shooting videos or taking pictures.

Battery Life:

The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a larger battery that can last up to 20 hours of talk time, which is longer than the iPhone 12 Pro’s 17 hours. The Max version also supports faster charging, with a maximum 20W charging speed, while the Pro version supports up to 18W charging.

Design and Size:

Both models have a similar design, with stainless steel frames and ceramic shield front covers. However, the Pro Max is larger and heavier, weighing almost 50 grams more than the Pro version. The larger size of the Max version might be inconvenient for some users while the Pro version provides a comfortable grip as it fits perfectly in the hand.

Price:

The iPhone 12 Pro Max is more expensive than the iPhone 12 Pro, with a price difference of around $100. The pricing difference might not be a significant factor for some, but it could be a decisive factor for others.

Conclusion:

Both the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max are excellent smartphones with exceptional features, sleek designs, and top-notch performance. When it comes to choosing between the two, it ultimately depends on personal preferences and what features you prioritize the most. If you prioritize camera quality and battery life, then the iPhone 12 Pro Max might be the better choice. If size and price are more important, then the iPhone 12 Pro could be the ideal option. At the end of the day, both models are excellent choices and deliver an outstanding performance that will meet any modern smartphone user’s needs.
