Spread the love

The gentle rocking of the ship, the warm Caribbean breeze, and the laughter echoing across the deck – these are the memories that will forever be etched in my mind from our recent 8-night Caribbean cruise. It wasn’t just a vacation; it was a multigenerational experience that brought our family closer than ever before.

From the moment we embarked, the vibrant atmosphere of the ship was contagious. My grandma, usually content with a good book, found herself captivated by the nightly shows and bustling entertainment. My mom, a self-proclaimed beach lover, basked in the sun on deck while I explored the ship’s countless activities, from pool games to dance lessons. Our extended family members, ranging in age from toddlers to seasoned travelers, all found their own slice of paradise on board.

The port stops were equally enchanting. We marveled at the turquoise waters of Grand Cayman, snorkeled among colorful fish in Cozumel, and wandered through the charming streets of Puerto Rico. Each destination offered a unique glimpse into the Caribbean’s diverse culture, history, and natural beauty.

The cruise offered something for everyone. My grandma enjoyed leisurely strolls, my mom soaked in the sun, and I ventured into new culinary experiences. We shared meals, stories, and laughter, forging memories that transcended age gaps. It was a testament to the power of travel to bring families together, creating lasting bonds that were woven into the fabric of our shared experience.

As we disembarked, leaving the idyllic Caribbean behind, we knew this was more than just a vacation. It was a multigenerational voyage that solidified our family ties and created memories that will be treasured for years to come.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
