Learning objectives for employee training can be a daunting task for beginners, but with a little effort, it can be a breeze. Here are a few tips to get started:

  1. Start with what you know. If you know what the employee needs to learn in order to do their job effectively, start there. This will help you stay organized and ensure that your objectives are realistic and achievable.
  2. Determine the purpose of the training. Training should have a specific goal, such as increasing productivity, reducing accidents, or increasing customer satisfaction.
  3. Define the objectives of the training. Again, make sure the objectives are specific and measurable. This will help you determine how much training is necessary and how long it should take.
  4. Choose the right delivery method. There are a number of different delivery methods for employee training, such as in-person, online, or video. Choose the delivery method that is the most effective for the goal of the training and the employees involved.
  5. Plan and track the training. Keep track of who attended the training, what topics were covered, and what skills were learned. This will help you ensure that the training was effective and that the objectives were met.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
