How to Use Vanish Mode on Instagram

Vanish Mode on Instagram is a new feature that allows users to have more private conversations by disappearing chat messages. This is useful when you want to have a conversation that you don’t want others to see or when you want to keep a conversation private for a limited time. Here’s how to use Vanish Mode on Instagram:

1. Update the Instagram App

Before you can use Vanish Mode, ensure that you’re using the latest Instagram app version. You can check for an update in the app store on your device.

2. Open the Chat

Open the chat you want to vanish. You can do this by swiping left on your Instagram feed and clicking on the messaging icon. Or, click on the message icon on your Instagram profile and select the chat from your inbox.

3. Swipe Up

By swiping up on the message window, you will activate Vanish Mode. Your chat will disappear from the message window, and the screen turns black.

4. Send and Receive Messages

Once you’ve entered Vanish Mode, you can send and receive messages with your contact as usual. Any messages sent in this mode will vanish automatically after the chat has been closed.

5. Return to Regular Chat

To return to regular chat mode, swipe up again, and Vanish Mode will deactivate. Your chat messages will reappear, and you will be able to continue the chat as usual.

6. Additional Features

You can also use Vanish Mode to send images or GIFs, but they will only be visible while the conversation is active. When you exit Vanish Mode, the pictures and GIFs will disappear from the chat window.

It’s worth noting that Vanish Mode should not be used to have inappropriate or harmful conversations. Instagram has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, and users can report inappropriate messages through the app.

In conclusion, Vanish Mode is a useful feature on Instagram if you want to have private conversations that will disappear after a given period. However, it’s important to use it responsibly and avoid using it for inappropriate content or behavior.
