As a Samsung user, you may be using My Files app to manage your files and folders. However, finding your downloads can be a bit of a hassle. Luckily, the My Files app offers an easy way to find your downloads without having to navigate through various folders. In this article, we’ll show you how to use the Samsung My Files app to find your downloads.

Step 1: Open My Files app

First, locate the My Files app on your Samsung device and open it. Typically, you can find it on your home screen or in the app drawer.

Step 2: Tap on ‘Downloads’

Once you have My Files app open, you’ll need to browse for the ‘Downloads’ folder. This can be found under the ‘Categories’ section on the app homepage. Tap on ‘Downloads’ to open the folder.

Step 3: Find your Downloads

Once you’ve opened the ‘Downloads’ folder, you’ll be able to view all the files you’ve downloaded in the past. You should see a list of all your downloaded files, including photos, videos, audio files, documents, and other types of files.

Step 4: Use the Sort and Filter Functions

If you have a lot of downloads, you may want to sort them out. You can do this by using the sort and filter functions at the top of the screen. Tap on the three vertical dots in the top right-hand corner of the ‘Downloads’ page, and then select ‘Sort by’ or ‘Filter by’ based on your preference. For example, you can choose to sort your files by name, date, size, and type.

Step 5: Open and Manage your Downloads

To open a downloaded file, tap on it. You can also choose to share or delete the file using the options at the bottom of the screen. To select multiple files, tap and hold on one file until it is highlighted, and then tap on the other files that you want to select.

Conclusion

Finding your downloads on your Samsung device doesn’t have to be a chore. The My Files app makes it easy to find all your downloads, sort and filter them, and even manage them. With the simple steps outlined in this article, you should now be able to locate and manage your downloads with ease.
