The PlayStation 5 is the latest and greatest gaming console that boasts a whole host of new features to enhance the gaming experience. One of these features is share screen. In this article, we’ll guide you through how to use share screen on your PS5 and what it does.

What is Share Screen?

Share screen is a feature that lets you share your screen with others while you’re gaming. This feature is particularly useful for streamers as it allows them to share their gameplay with their viewers in real-time. You can also use share screen to play games remotely with a friend or family member who may not have access to the game.

How to Use Share Screen on Your PS5

Using share screen on your PS5 is a straightforward process. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Press the create button on your DualSense controller

Step 2: Select the “Broadcast and Capture” option

Step 3: Select “Share Screen”

Step 4: Choose the platform on which you want to share your screen (Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook)

Step 5: Select the game you want to share

Step 6: Hit “Start Broadcasting”

Share screen limits

It’s worth noting that share screen comes with some limitations. The most significant of these is that you cannot share screens with people who aren’t in the same room as you. You also cannot use share screen to share screens with someone who isn’t signed in to a PlayStation Network account.

Additionally, there are some games that do not allow share screen. This can be because the game heavily integrates immersive experiences that require undivided attention.
