How to Use Bixby Routines on Your Samsung Phone to Automate Your Day

As technology continues to evolve, people are constantly looking for convenient ways to make their lives easier. One such technology that people have embraced is the use of virtual assistants. One such virtual assistant is Bixby, which is found on Samsung phones. Bixby makes it easy for you to automate your day through the use of Bixby routines.

Bixby routines are essentially a set of pre-set instructions that you can utilize to automate your phone’s functions. With Bixby routines, you can automate repetitive tasks, saving time and energy. To use Bixby routines, follow the simple steps listed below.

Step One: Launch Bixby

To begin using Bixby routines, open the Bixby app on your Samsung phone. If you do not have the Bixby app on your phone, you can download and install the app from the Google Play Store.

Step Two: Create a Routine

Once you have opened the Bixby app, select the “Routines” tab located at the bottom of your screen. Next, select the “Create routine” button at the top right corner of your screen. You will be prompted to give your routine a name.

Step Three: Choose a Trigger

After naming your routine, you will then choose a trigger – an event or action that will activate the routine. For example, you could choose a location-based trigger, such as arriving at your office or home. Bixby will then use your phone’s GPS to determine when you’ve arrived at the specified location.

Other trigger options include time-based triggers, device motion triggers, and more. Once you’ve chosen your trigger, tap “Add.” Bixby will then prompt you to choose an action.

Step Four: Choose an Action

After selecting your trigger, select the “Add action” button. You will then be prompted to choose an action. This is what your phone will do automatically once the trigger you have selected is activated. There are a wide variety of actions you can choose from, including turning on your phone’s Wi-Fi, adjusting the brightness of your phone’s screen or even launching a specific app.

Step Five: Save and Activate Your Routine

Once you have chosen your action, you can save your Bixby routine by tapping the “Save” button at the top right corner of your screen. Your routine will automatically be activated once you save it.
