In today’s fast-paced world, keeping track of your schedules and sharing them with colleagues, friends, or family can keep you organized and in sync with others. Google Calendar is a versatile tool that helps you manage your time effectively. And for iPhone users, it’s an incredibly convenient way to stay on top of your appointments and events. Here’s how you can use and share Google Calendar on your iPhone.

Using Google Calendar on iPhone:

1. Download and Install:

Begin by downloading the Google Calendar app from the App Store. Once installed, open it.

2. Sign In:

You’ll need a Google Account to use Google Calendar. Sign in with your existing account or create a new one.

3. Create Events:

Tap on the plus sign (+) at the bottom right of the screen. Here, you can add all the event details such as title, location, time, and more.

4. Customize Your View:

You can choose to view your calendar in different formats like day, week, or month views by tapping on ‘Today’ at the bottom left corner and then selecting your preferred view option.

5. Set Reminders:

For each event, you can set up reminders to get notifications so that you never miss a thing.

6. Edit Events:

If you need to change event details or delete an event, simply tap on the event in your calendar and choose the ‘Edit’ option.

Sharing Google Calendar on iPhone:

1. Share Your Calendar:

From within the app, go to ‘Menu’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Manage accounts’ > ‘Edit’. Tap on your account and then select ‘Shared with me’. You can now add people with whom you want to share your calendar by entering their email addresses.

2. Share Individual Events:

To share particular events rather than your entire calendar, open the event details and tap on ‘Edit’. Select ‘Add guests’ then type in their email addresses.

3. Send Invitations:

After adding guests to an event or sharing your calendar, invitations will be sent out automatically which they can respond to directly from their own Google Calendar app.

Google Calendar’s seamless integration with iOS allows iPhone users to manage their time effectively while also making it simple to collaborate with others. With notifications to keep you alerted about upcoming events and the ability to invite others to meetings or appointments, staying organized is easier than ever before.
