Updating towers for your Sprint cell phone is crucial to ensure you have a good network signal and can enjoy uninterrupted calls and internet services. Here is a guide on how to update towers for Sprint cell phones.

Step 1: Ensure your Device is Compatible with Sprint Towers

The first step is to ensure that your device is compatible with the Sprint network. Before you update the towers, you will need to check that your device is compatible with Sprint’s network system. Sprint offers LTE and 5G network. Hence, you need to have a device that supports either of these networks.

Step 2: Make sure your Phone has the Latest Software Version

Make sure your phone has the latest software version by accessing the ‘Settings’ option on your device. Look for the ‘System Updates’ option and click on ‘Check for Updates.’ If there is any update available, install it to make sure your device is working at its best.

Step 3: Contact Sprint Customer Support

If your device is compatible and has the latest software version, but you are still experiencing network issues, it’s best to contact Sprint customer support. They will help you with the tower update process and guide you through the steps to make your phone work at its best.

Step 4: Install The PRL Update

If Sprint customer support advises you to update the tower manually, here’s how you can do it. Go to the menu on your device and access ‘Settings.’ Then navigate to ‘System Updates’ and click on ‘Update PRL.’ It will download the PRL update, which includes the tower update on your phone.

Step 5: Do a Network Reset

Once you have updated your PRL, you should do a reset of your network settings. This will ensure your device starts using the updated PRL, which will help you connect to the updated towers. To reset your network settings, go to ‘Settings’ > ‘General Management’ > ‘Reset’ > ‘Reset Network Settings.’ This will erase any saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth information, so make sure to reconnect all of your devices.

In conclusion, updating the towers for your Sprint cell phone is an essential step to make sure you always have the best network coverage. You can either do it manually or get support from Sprint customer service. Follow the steps mentioned above, and you’ll be able to complete the tower update process without any hassle.
