TikTok is a popular social media platform that is known for its short video format. The platform is home to millions of users who create and share all kinds of content. As a user, you may find yourself following accounts that are no longer relevant or interesting to you. In such cases, the best option is to unfollow these accounts. Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: Open the TikTok app

The first step is to open the TikTok app on your phone. Make sure you have the latest version of the app.

Step 2: Go to the profile of the account you want to unfollow

You can unfollow an account from your following list or by going directly to the profile of the account. If you choose the latter, tap on the search button at the bottom of the screen and type in the username of the account you want to unfollow. Once you find the account, tap on the profile to open it.

Step 3: Tap on the Following button

On the profile page, you’ll see a blue button that says “Following.” Tap on this button.

Step 4: Unfollow the account

Once you tap on the Following button, a new screen will open up with two options: “Unfollow” and “Notifications.” Tap on the “Unfollow” option, and you’ll be asked to confirm your action. Tap on “Unfollow” again, and the account will be removed from your following list.

Step 5: Repeat the process for other accounts

If you want to unfollow more accounts, just repeat the same process for each account. You can also use the same process to unfollow accounts from your following list.

Conclusion

Unfollowing accounts on TikTok is a quick and easy process. By unfollowing accounts that are no longer relevant or interesting to you, you can make sure that your feed only shows you content that you enjoy. So go ahead and unfollow those accounts that are clogging up your feed, and enjoy your TikTok experience to the fullest!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
