Samsung devices have become a prominent player in the smartphone industry owing to their sleek designs, impressive specifications and user-friendly interface. One of the most appealing features of this phone is the ability to turn on/off dark mode. In this article, we’ll discuss the step-by-step guide on how to enable or disable dark mode on Samsung Galaxy phones.

What is Dark Mode?

Dark mode, also known as night mode, is a setting on a smartphone device that modifies the user interface, making it easier to use in low light conditions. It essentially “turns off the lights” on your device by changing the background to a darker color, usually black or dark blue. Not only does it reduce eye strain, but it also saves battery life, which is a definite plus for users who rely heavily on their devices.

How to Turn on Dark Mode on Samsung Galaxy Phones

Step 1: Swipe down from the top of your phone’s screen to open the Notification Panel.

Step 2: Tap on the Dark mode icon. The icon is usually visible once you have your device updated to the latest software version.

Step 3: Another option is to access device settings, tap on “Display” and toggle on the “Night mode” button.

Step 4: The screen interface should now shift to a darker color, indicating that Dark mode has been enabled.

How to Turn Off Dark Mode on Samsung Galaxy Phones

Step 1: Swipe down from the top of your phone’s screen to open the Notification Panel.

Step 2: Tap on the Dark mode icon to turn it off.

Step 3: Alternatively, head to the device’s settings, click “Display” and toggle off the “Night Mode” button.

Step 4: If done successfully, the smartphone interface should revert back to its default color.

Conclusion

Enabling dark mode on your Samsung Galaxy phone is a simple and easy process. It helps to reduce eye strain and save your phone’s battery life. Additionally, it is also possible to have this feature applied to selected Apps on your device. With this article, you can now follow the step-by-step guide on how to turn on or off Dark mode on your Samsung Galaxy phone efficiently.
