Netflix is one of the most popular streaming services available today, offering users access to a vast library of TV shows, movies, and documentaries. While the platform comes with a host of features that enhance the user’s experience, one of the most useful is the ability to enable subtitles when watching content in a language they don’t understand. However, what happens when you no longer need the subtitles, and you want to turn them off? In this article, we’ll show you how to turn off subtitles on Netflix.

Step 1: Launch the Netflix App

The first step to turning off subtitles on Netflix is to launch the app on your device. This can be done by opening the Netflix app on your smartphone or tablet, or by visiting the website on your computer.

Step 2: Pick a Title to Watch

Once you’ve launched the app, pick the title you want to watch without subtitles. You can do this by browsing through the library or by selecting a title from a list of recommendations.

Step 3: Play the Title

After picking the title, hit the play button, and the video will start to play. The subtitles will appear on the screen if they were previously enabled. You will need to navigate to the subtitle settings to disable them.

Step 4: Navigate to the Subtitle Settings

To disable subtitles while the video is playing, look for the subtitle button located on the playback screen. This button is usually located in the lower right corner of the screen.

Step 5: Turn off Subtitles

Click on the subtitle button to view the list of subtitle options, and select the “off” option. This will turn off all subtitles, including those in the original language.

Step 6: Save Changes

After turning off subtitles, you will need to save the changes by clicking the “done” or “save” button, depending on the device you’re using. Once saved, the subtitles will no longer appear on any title you watch on Netflix.

In conclusion, turning off subtitles on Netflix is quite easy, and can be done in a matter of seconds. Whether you’re watching a movie or a TV show, disabling subtitles will allow you to enjoy the content without any distractions. By following the steps outlined above, you’ll be able to turn off subtitles on any device that you use to access Netflix.
