Using headphones while listening to music or making calls is a common practice among iPhone users. Apple has taken care of users’ health by providing a feature, called “Headphone Safety,” that prevents the volume level from exceeding the recommended limit for safe listening. However, in some cases, users may want to turn off this feature to increase the volume level beyond the recommended limit. In this article, we will discuss how to turn off headphone safety on the iPhone.

Step 1: Open Settings

The first step is to open the “Settings” app on your iPhone. This app is generally located on the home screen of the device.

Step 2: Tap on “Music”

From the Settings menu, scroll down and tap on the “Music” option.

Step 3: Scroll down to “Volume Limit”

Under the Music settings, scroll down to the “Volume Limit” option.

Step 4: Turn Off Headphone Safety

Now, you can turn off headphone safety by simply sliding the toggle button next to “Headphone Safety” to the left.

Step 5: Set the Volume Limit

If you still want to set a volume limit, you can do so by adjusting the slider bar next to “Maximum volume.” However, if you want to turn off the volume limit altogether, you can slide the toggle button next to “Volume Limit” to the left.

Step 6: Save the Changes

After making the desired changes, simply click on “Done” to save the settings.

In conclusion, turning off the headphone safety feature on your iPhone is easy and can be accomplished in a few simple steps. However, we recommend not to turn off this feature unless necessary, as hearing loss due to loud music can be permanent and irrevocable. It is always better to listen to your favorite music at a safe volume level.
