Transferring contacts from an Android smartphone to an iPhone can be a bit tricky, especially for those who have recently made the switch. Fortunately, with the right steps and tools, one can easily transfer their phone book from Android to iPhone without any hassle.

In this article, we will guide you through the process of transferring contacts from an Android device to an iPhone.

Step 1: Sync contacts to Google account

Before transferring contacts, make sure that all your contacts are synced to your Google account. To do this, go to Settings on your Android device, then go to Accounts and Sync. From there, tap on your Google Account and toggle on the Sync Contacts button.

By syncing your contacts to your Google account, you’ll be able to access all your contacts on your iPhone by signing in to your Google account.

Step 2: Transfer contacts to iPhone using iCloud

The next step is to transfer the contacts from your Google account to your iPhone using iCloud. Here’s how to do it:

1. Go to settings on your iPhone and tap on your Apple ID (your name).

2. Tap on iCloud and toggle on Contacts.

3. Tap on Merge when it asks you to merge the contacts with iCloud.

4. Go to icloud.com on your computer and sign in with your Apple ID.

5. Click on Contacts.

6. Click on the gear icon at the bottom left and click on Import vCard.

7. Select the vCard that you exported from Google contacts and click Open.

8. Wait for the contacts to finish importing into iCloud.

Step 3: Sync contacts from iCloud to iPhone

Once your contacts are in iCloud, it’s time to sync them to your iPhone. Here’s how to do it:

1. Go to Settings on your iPhone and tap on your Apple ID.

2. Tap on iCloud and toggle on Contacts.

3. Wait for the contacts to sync with your iPhone.

Conclusion

Transferring contacts from Android to iPhone may seem daunting, but it’s actually quite simple if you follow the steps above. By syncing your Android contacts to your Google account and then to iCloud, you’ll be able to quickly and easily transfer all your contacts to your new iPhone. With your contacts safely transferred, you can enjoy using your iPhone without any worries.
