Are you tired of scrubbing your oven relentlessly and struggling with stubborn stains? Steam cleaning is an efficient, eco-friendly method that can make your oven look brand new in no time. Follow these 10 simple steps to steam clean your oven with ease.

1. Turn off the oven: Before you start the cleaning process, ensure that your oven is turned off and completely cooled.

2. Remove oven racks: Take out all oven racks, trays, and any other removable accessories from your oven. These items can be cleaned separately using soap and water or placed in the dishwasher.

3. Create a steam-cleaning solution: In a heat-resistant bowl or dish, mix equal parts of water and distilled white vinegar. The vinegar will help dissolve grease and loosen up stubborn stains.

4. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to its lowest possible temperature setting, usually around 200°F (93°C). As the oven warms up, it will help activate the steam-cleaning solution.

5. Place the steam-cleaning solution in the heated oven: Once the oven reaches the desired temperature, carefully place the bowl or dish containing your steam-cleaning solution on an empty rack inside the oven. Close the door to trap in steam.

6. Let the steam work its magic: Allow the steam-cleaning solution to work for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until you observe the grime on your oven walls starting to loosen up.

7. Turn off the oven and let it cool: After sufficient steaming, turn off your oven and allow it to cool down for at least 15-20 minutes before proceeding with cleaning.

8. Remove the bowl and scrub away: Once it’s safe to touch, remove the bowl containing your steam-cleaning solution from the oven carefully. Use a non-abrasive sponge or cloth soaked in warm soapy water to gently scrub away any remaining grime and stains from your oven’s interior. Be sure to also clean around the oven door, gaskets, and seals.

9. Wipe down the oven: With a clean, damp cloth, wipe down the entire oven interior to remove any leftover residue or cleaning solution. Make sure to dry it thoroughly before reassembling your oven racks and accessories.

10. Reinsert oven racks and accessories: After everything is clean and dry, put back the oven racks, trays, and other accessories in their appropriate places.

That’s it! Your oven should now look sparkling clean and odor-free. With quick steam cleaning sessions every few months, you can keep your oven in tip-top shape for years to come.
