Yahoo Mail is one of the most popular email services used by millions of people worldwide. If you are an iPhone user and want to set up Yahoo Mail on your device, then this article is for you. In this article, we will guide you on how to set up Yahoo Mail on iPhone step by step. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Add Your Yahoo Account

Go to Settings on your iPhone and tap on Accounts & Passwords. Then, tap on Add Account and select Yahoo. Enter your Yahoo email address and password and tap Sign In.

Step 2: Configure Yahoo Mail Settings

Once you have successfully signed in, you will be prompted to select what you want to sync on your iPhone. You can choose to sync your Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Notes. Simply toggle the switch for each option to turn it on or off.

Step 3: Verify Your Account

After configuring the settings, you may need to verify your account. You might be asked to enter a verification code sent to your email or phone number. Follow the instructions provided by Yahoo and verify your account.

Step 4: Set up Incoming Mail Server

Assuming that you have followed the steps up to this point, now it’s time to set up your incoming mail server. If it’s not already there, go to Settings -> Accounts & Passwords -> Yahoo -> Account -> Advanced Settings, and ensure that the Incoming Mail Server option (IMAP) is set correctly:

IMAP server: imap.mail.yahoo.com

Port: 993

Security type: SSL/TLS

Step 5: Set up Outgoing Mail Server

Next, set up your outgoing mail server. In the same settings menu, scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server option and ensure that it is set correctly:

SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Port: 465

Security type: SSL/TLS

Step 6: Save Changes

After configuring both incoming and outgoing mail servers, tap Done, and then tap the Save button to save the changes.

Step 7: Test Your Yahoo Mail

Finally, make sure that your Yahoo Mail account is working correctly by opening the Mail app on your iPhone and checking for new messages. You should be able to send and receive emails without any issues.

Setting up Yahoo Mail on iPhone is a straightforward process. All you need to do is follow the steps listed above, and you’ll be able to access your Yahoo Mail account on your iPhone. With your emails, contacts, and calendars all synced, you will be able to stay on top of your communication and never miss an important message again.
