Keeping your phone on silent mode while you are busy with your work is a common practice these days. However, if you miss an important call, message, or notification, you may regret keeping your phone on silent mode. Well, all smartphones have built-in flashlights that you can easily use for your benefit. By setting up flash light notifications on your phone, you can see the alerts even when your phone is on silent mode. In this article, we will discuss how you can set up flash light notifications on your phone.

Step 1: Check Your Phone’s Compatibility

First of all, make sure that your phone is compatible with the flashlight notifications feature. This feature is available on most smartphones these days, including Android and iPhone devices. However, some older models may not support this feature.

Step 2: Enable Flashlight Notifications

If your phone supports flash light notifications, go to your phone’s settings, and find the Accessibility settings option. Depending on your phone, the location of the Accessibility settings may differ. However, it is usually available under ‘Settings’ > ‘General’ > ‘Accessibility’.

Step 3: Turn on Flashlight Notifications

Once you have found the Accessibility settings, navigate to the ‘Flashlight Notifications’ option, and turn it on. You can enable or disable the flashlight notifications for calls, messages, and other apps as per your preference.

Step 4: Customize Your Flashlight Notifications

Most smartphones allow you to customize your flashlight notifications according to your liking. You can set the flashlight frequency and duration, as well as choose from various colors for different notifications.

Step 5: Test Your Flashlight Notifications

Once you have set up your flashlight notifications, it’s important to test them before using them. Simply ask a friend to call or text you and observe if the flashlight notification is working correctly.

Final Thoughts

Setting up flashlight notifications on your phone is a quick and easy way to stay on top of your important calls, messages, and notifications. By following these simple steps, you can enable flashlight notifications on your phone and customize them to your liking. So, the next time you’re in a meeting, movie theatre, or anywhere where you need to keep your phone on silent mode, you won’t have to worry about missing important calls or messages.
