Sending emails from Outlook is a common task that most of us are familiar with. But did you know that you can send an email with any From: address in Outlook? This means that you can send an email using a different email address than your default Outlook address. This is useful when you have multiple email addresses and want to send emails from a specific email account. In this article, we will show you how to send an email with any From: address in Outlook.

Step 1: Add the Email Account

Before you can send an email with any From: address, you need to add the email account to Outlook. To do this, go to File > Info > Add Account. Select the email account you want to add and follow the instructions to set it up. Once the email account is added, you will be able to switch between different email addresses when sending an email.

Step 2: Compose a New Email

To compose an email with any From: address, start by opening a new email in Outlook. Click on the New Email button to open a new email window.

Step 3: Select the Email Account

In the new email window, click on the From: field to reveal a drop-down menu. Here, you will see a list of all the email accounts that you have added to Outlook. Select the email account that you want to use as your From: address.

Step 4: Send the Email

Once you have selected the email account, compose your email as usual. When you are ready to send the email, click on the Send button. The email will be sent with the From: address that you selected.

Tips for Sending Emails with Any From: Address

Here are a few tips to keep in mind when sending emails with any From: address in Outlook:

– Make sure you have permission to use the email account as your From: address. Some email providers may not allow you to send emails from an account that you do not own.

– Be aware of the email policies of the recipient. Some email providers may mark emails sent from a different From: address as spam or reject them altogether.

– Do not use this feature to impersonate someone else. Sending emails with a fake From: address is unethical and can be illegal in some cases.

Conclusion

Sending emails with any From: address in Outlook is a useful feature that can help you manage multiple email accounts efficiently. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can easily send emails from any email account that you have added to Outlook. Just be sure to use this feature responsibly and ethically.
