iMovie is a popular video editing software that comes pre-installed on all Mac computers. It offers a user-friendly interface that makes video editing simple and intuitive, and allows users to create stunning videos with ease. Whether you’re a professional video editor or just a beginner, iMovie provides all the necessary tools to create a masterpiece.

Once you have completed your video project on iMovie, it is essential to save it correctly to avoid losing your hard work. There are a few simple steps that you can follow to save your iMovie project on Mac.

Step 1: Click on ‘File’

Once you have completed your video project, click on the “File” option in the top menu bar.

Step 2: Select ‘Save’

Under the “File” option, select “Save.” This will save your project as an iMovie file on your Mac.

Step 3: Choose File Name and Location

After clicking on the “Save” option, you will be prompted to choose a file name and location to save your iMovie project. Choose a name that is easy to remember and select a location on your Mac where you can easily find your project.

Step 4: Save Your Project

To save your project, click on the “Save” button. This will save your iMovie project to the selected location on your Mac.

Step 5: Export Your Project

If you want to share your project with others or upload it to a video sharing platform, you will need to export your iMovie project. To do this, click on “Share” in the top menu bar and choose the desired export option.

There are several export options available, including exporting to YouTube, iTunes, and file formats like MP4. Choose the appropriate option based on your needs and follow the on-screen instructions.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
