Snapchat has taken the world by storm with its engaging and ephemeral photo and video sharing platform, allowing users to share their favorite moments with friends and followers. While the app is packed with features, one common query that arises is how to rotate Snapchat photos. In this article, we will walk you through a step-by-step guide on rotating your snaps before sending them on their way.

Step 1: Take or Choose a Photo

To begin, either take a new photo using Snapchat’s in-app camera or select an existing one from your camera roll. To access your camera roll, tap on the double rectangle icon in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Step 2: Open the Editing Options

Once you have captured or chosen your snap, tap on the “Edit” button (it looks like a pencil) located on the right side of your screen. This will take you to Snapchat’s editing options.

Step 3: Access Rotation Feature

Now that you are in the editing options, look for the rotation icon (it looks like a round arrow) located towards the bottom left of your screen, just above the delete option (the trashcan icon).

Step 4: Rotate Your Photo

By tapping on the rotation icon, your snap will rotate 90 degrees clockwise. Continue tapping on it until you achieve the desired rotation of your photo. In most cases, it will take multiple taps to get your snap in the preferred orientation.

Step 5: Additional Edits (Optional)

If you wish to make further edits to your snap – such as adding text, stickers, filters, or drawings – you can do so by utilizing various editing tools available within Snapchat.

Step 6: Send Your Snap

Once satisfied with the rotation and any additional edits made to your snap, press done on the top right (represented by a blue checkmark). Finally, hit the Send button (a blue arrow), and choose your recipients to share your newly rotated photo.

While Snapchat does not include a specific tool for fine-tuning rotation to an exact degree, these steps provide a quick solution for rotating your snaps in 90-degree increments. By following this guide, you can ensure that your Snapchat photos are always at the perfect angle, conveying the exact message you intend to share with your friends and followers. So go ahead and start snapping – and remember to rotate!
