Audible is a popular online platform for audiobook lovers where they can purchase, download, and listen to thousands of audiobooks. With its user-friendly interface, Audible allows its users to browse and own a vast collection of books that they can access anytime, anywhere. However, one drawback of purchasing audiobooks is that they cannot be physically returned like traditional books. But, there’s no need to worry as Audible has made it easy for its users to return books if they are unsatisfied or if they made a mistake in purchasing. In this article, we’ll show you how to return a book on Audible.

Step 1: Go to the Audible Website

To return an audiobook on Audible, log in to your account on the Audible website. If you don’t have an account, create one and sign in.

Step 2: Go to Your Account

After signing in, click on the “Your Account” tab on the top right corner of the homepage.

Step 3: Click on “Purchase History”

Under the “Your Account” tab, you’ll find various options. Click on the “Purchase History” button.

Step 4: Find the Book You Want to Return

In the “Purchase History” section, you’ll see all the audiobooks you’ve purchased on Audible. Find the book you want to return by scrolling down the list or by using the search bar to filter your purchases.

Step 5: Click on “Return Title”

Once you’ve found the book you want to return, click on the “Return Title” button located beside the title.

Step 6: Choose Why You’re Returning

After clicking on “Return Title,” a pop-up window will appear asking you why you’re returning the book. Choose the reason that best suits your issue with the book from the drop-down list.

Step 7: Click on “Return Title”

Once you’ve chosen the reason for the return, click on the “Return Title” button located at the bottom of the window.

Step 8: Confirm Return

After you’ve clicked on “Return Title,” a final confirmation window will appear. Click on the “Yes” button to confirm the return.

Step 9: Make Sure the Book is Removed from Your Library

After confirmation, make sure the book is no longer in your library. If it is still there, refresh your page or log out and then log back in to your account. If the book is still present in your library, contact Audible’s customer service for assistance.

In conclusion, returning audiobooks on Audible is a straightforward process as long as you follow the steps carefully. It’s important to note that you have only 365 days to return a book from the date of purchase. Once returned, you will receive a credit in your Audible account or a refund. This way, you can use the credit or refund to purchase another book that you’ll enjoy listening to.
