If you’re having trouble with your Samsung S20, or if it’s started to freeze or slow down, a simple reboot could help fix the issue. Restarting your phone is an easy process and in this article, we’ll guide you through the steps to restart your Samsung S20.

Method 1: Restarting from the Settings Menu

1. Go to the Settings app on your Samsung S20. You can find it in your app drawer or by swiping down from the top of your home screen and tapping on the gear icon in the top right corner.

2. Scroll down the settings menu and tap on the ‘General management’ option.

3. Tap on the ‘Reset’ option.

4. On the next screen, tap on ‘Reset network settings’.

5. A pop-up message will appear asking you to confirm. Tap on ‘Reset settings’ to confirm. Your phone will now restart.

Method 2: Using the buttons

1. Press and hold the ‘Volume down’ button and the ‘Power’ button at the same time for a few seconds until the Samsung logo appears on the screen.

2. Release the buttons once the Samsung logo appears. Your Samsung S20 should now be restarting.

Method 3: Using Bixby

1. Press and hold the Bixby key and the ‘Power’ button at the same time for a few seconds.

2. Release the buttons once the Samsung logo appears. Your Samsung S20 should now be restarting.

In Conclusion, Restarting your Samsung S20 can be a quick fix to resolve many common issues. If your Samsung S20 is still having issues after a restart, it may be time to contact Samsung customer support or reach out to a professional technician for assistance. Always make sure to backup your important data before performing a restart or factory reset on your device.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
