Resetting achievements for steam games is a simple process that requires just a couple of steps. Resetting achievements can be a great way to relive a game from scratch and experience the thrill of completing objectives all over again. In this article, we will walk you through the process of resetting achievements for steam games.

Step 1: Finding the game folder

The first step in resetting achievements for steam games is finding the game folder. This is where all the data for the game is stored. To find the game folder, go to your steam library and right-click on the game you want to reset. From the drop-down menu, select ‘properties.’

In the properties window, select the ‘local files’ tab and click on the ‘browse local files’ button. This will open up the game folder on your computer.

Step 2: Deleting the achievements file

Once you have found the game folder, the next step is to delete the achievements file for the game. The achievements file is usually located in the game’s folder and is named something like ‘achievements.dat’ or ‘achievements.txt.’

Make sure that you have closed the game before deleting the achievements file. Once you have located the file, right-click on it and select ‘delete.’

Step 3: Restarting the game

After deleting the achievements file, the last step is to restart the game. When you start the game, it will create a new achievements file, effectively resetting your achievements.

Note: Resetting achievements will not erase any saved game data or progress. It only resets the achievements.
