If you buy a game on Steam and it is not up to your expectations, you can ask for a refund. However, Steam has a refund policy that has to be followed in order to get your money back.

Here are some steps to follow:

1. Check the refund policy

The refund policy for Steam depends on the country in which you live. You should have a look at the policy for your country before requesting a refund. In general, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchasing the game, and as long as you have not played the game for more than two hours.

2. Go to your Steam account

Go to your Steam account and find the game that you want to refund. Click on “Help” and then “Steam Support.”

3. Choose “Purchases”

After that, choose “Purchases” and select the game you want to refund. You will see a list of options, choose “I would like a refund” option.

4. Select the Reason

You will be asked to select a reason why you want to refund the game. Select the most suitable reason why you want a refund. Some common reasons are “The game is not what I expected” or “I accidentally bought the game.”

5. Confirm the Request

Steam will ask you to confirm the request for a refund. Check the information you have entered, and then click on “Submit Request.”

6. Wait for Approval

After submitting your request, you will have to wait for approval. You will receive an email from Steam with the status of your request. If your request is approved, you will get your money back within 7 working days.

7. Check Your Bank Account

Once you have received the email confirming that you’ll receive a refund, check your bank account to make sure that you have received your money. If your bank account didn’t receive the refund, contact Steam support and let them know.
