1. Prepare the Deck:

You will need a standard 52-card deck for TriPeaks Solitaire. Shuffle the cards thoroughly to ensure a fair game.

2. Set Up the Layout:

The unique layout of TriPeaks Solitaire consists of three overlapping pyramids, built from a combination of face-down and face-up cards. Start by laying out four rows at the base, with one card in the first row, two in the second row, three in the third row, and four in the fourth row. Continue building the three pyramids by placing three more rows on top of each other in descending order (i.e., 3-2-1). The top cards of each pyramid should be face-up, with all other cards remaining face-down.

3. Create Stock and Waste Piles:

Set aside the remaining cards as your stockpile and create an area for your waste pile.

4. Begin the Game:

Turn over the top card from your stockpile and move it to your waste pile.

5. Make Moves:

The objective of TriPeaks Solitaire is to remove all cards from the three pyramids by selecting face-up cards that are one rank higher or lower than the current top card on your waste pile (e.g., if your waste card is a 9, you can select an 8 or a 10). Suits do not matter in this game.

6. Uncover New Cards:

As you remove face-up cards from the pyramids, any face-down cards directly beneath them can be flipped face-up and become playable.

7. Use the Stockpile:

If you cannot make a move using the cards in the pyramids, draw a new card from your stockpile and add it to your waste pile. Be aware that you can only go through your stockpile once.

8. Wild Cards:

Aces and Kings are considered wild cards in TriPeaks Solitaire, which means an Ace can be placed on a King, and a King can be placed on an Ace.

9. Winning the Game:

To win the game, you must clear all three pyramids of their cards before running out of stock. If you cannot make any moves after going through your stockpile, the game is lost.
