In today’s fast-paced world, technology is taking over every aspect of human lives. With the introduction of virtual communication apps, keeping in touch with friends and family members has become extremely easy. However, with the ongoing pandemic people, it has become more important to stay connected, which has led to a massive increase in the usage of group video calling services.

One of the most popular virtual assistants helping people connect is Amazon Echo Show. With its smart display, Echo Show allows individuals to make video calls, play music, and enjoy various other features that make it a great addition to any home.

If you’re wondering how to place a group video call on an Amazon Echo Show, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a step-by-step guide that’ll help you do just that:

1. Launch the Amazon Alexa app: First and foremost, you need to open up the Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet. If you don’t already have the app, you can download it from your app store.

2. Navigate to the “Communicate” tab: Once you’re in the Alexa app, select the Communicate tab where you’ll see a list of all the contacts associated with your account.

3. Select the people you want to include in the call: Select the contacts you want to add to the group video call. You’re allowed to add up to seven contacts in total.

4. Start the group video call: Once you’ve chosen all the contacts you want to include in the call, select the “Video” option, which you’ll see on the upper right corner of the screen. Tap on it to initiate the group video call on your Echo Show.

5. Enjoy your call: Finally, you’re all set! Once your call has commenced, you and your friends can chat, share stories, and enjoy some quality time together.

It’s essential to keep in mind that all the people you want to include in the group video call should have the Alexa app downloaded on their devices and should be associated with their accounts. If they don’t have one, make sure to tell them to download it beforehand.
