How to Pin and Unpin a Program in Windows 7

Pinning a program to the taskbar in Windows 7 is a great way to access your favorite applications quickly. It saves you the time and hassle of searching for the application in the Start menu or desktop. In this article, we will guide you on how to pin and unpin a program in Windows 7.

How to Pin a Program to the Taskbar in Windows 7

1.The first step is to locate the program that you want to pin. You can find it in the Start menu or on your desktop.

2.Once you have located the program, right-click on it and select “Pin to Taskbar” from the context menu.

3.The program will now be pinned to the taskbar, and you can access it by clicking on the icon.

How to Unpin a Program from the Taskbar in Windows 7

1.To unpin a program from the taskbar, right-click on the program icon.

2.Select “Unpin from Taskbar” from the context menu.

3.The program icon will now be removed from the taskbar.

How to Change the Order of Pinned Programs on the Taskbar in Windows 7

1.To change the order of pinned programs on the taskbar, click and drag the program icon to the desired position.

2.Release the mouse button, and the program icon will be moved to the new location.

3.You can also rearrange the order of programs by right-clicking on the taskbar and selecting “Properties.”

4.In the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window, click on the “Customize” button next to the Notification area.

5.Find the program you want to move, click on it, and then click on the “Move up” or “Move down” button to rearrange its position.
