How To Pick The Best Beers For A Super Bowl Party

Choosing the perfect beers for a Super Bowl party is crucial to ensure your guests are happy and the vibe stays festive throughout the big game. Here’s how to pick the best brews to make your Super Bowl bash a touchdown with your crowd.

1. Know Your Audience

Before you stock up on any beer, consider who will be attending your party. Not everyone’s taste in beer is the same, so it’s important to have a variety that caters to different preferences. Some might prefer light beers, others might go for IPAs or stouts, and there will always be a few who appreciate something unique or local.

2. Opt for Variety

Given the diverse tastes of your guests, you’ll want to offer a selection. Aim to have at least one light lager, a pale ale or IPA, and something darker like a stout or porter. This range will ensure that there’s something for everyone.

3. Include Local and Craft Beers

Super Bowl parties are also great opportunities to showcase local breweries. Not only do you support local businesses, but these beers can also serve as conversation starters. Craft beers are known for their unique flavors and can provide some variety from mainstream options.

4. Remember Non-Beer Drinkers

Not everyone drinks beer, so remember to stock some ciders, hard seltzers, or non-alcoholic options as well. This ensures that nobody is left out of the fun.

5. Think About Food Pairings

Beer and food pairing can elevate the experience significantly. Think about the snacks and food you plan to serve and choose beers that complement those flavors. For instance, spicy foods go great with IPAs, while hearty meats pair well with stouts.

6. Keep It Chilled

No one likes warm beer, especially not during an exciting game! Ensure you have enough coolers or fridge space to keep everything frosty from kickoff till the final whistle.

7. Don’t Forget About Quantity

Running out of beer would be a major party foul! A good rule of thumb is to have enough beer so each guest can have one for each quarter of the game – that’s about 4 per person – plus some extra just in case.

8. Consider Presentation

Lastly, think about how you’ll present the beer selection. You could set up a DIY beer tasting station or just lay them out attractively with ice in coolers or buckets around the viewing area for easy access.

Follow these tips and your Super Bowl beer lineup will be sure to score big points with your friends! Cheers to a great game day filled with good company and great brews!
