1. Gather materials: Before you begin, gather the necessary materials, including a mounting kit, a drill, screws, pliers, a level, a measuring tape, and safety goggles. Additionally, make sure you have a clean and organized workspace.

2. Prepare the antlers: Clean the antlers thoroughly using warm soapy water and a brush. Dry them completely before proceeding.

3. Choose a mounting board: Select a mounting board of your preference that complements the antlers’ size and color. The board needs to be strong enough to support the weight of the antlers.

4. Prepare the mounting board: Mark the center point on your mounting board where you want to attach the antlers. Drill a pilot hole at this spot.

5. Position the antlers: Place the antlers on the mounting board to check their placement and angle. Adjust as needed until you achieve your desired look.

6. Attach supporting brackets: Using screws and brackets provided in your mounting kit, secure the antlers in place on the mounting board.

7. Make necessary adjustments: Ensure that both antlers are positioned symmetrically and at appropriate angles. Adjust as needed, then tighten all screws securely.

8. Attach hanging hardware: Secure hanging hardware such as picture wire or brackets to the back of your mounting board.

9. Select wall location: Choose a spot on your wall where you want to display your mounted antlers and make sure it is able to support their weight.

10. Install wall anchor: Depending on what type of wall you have (drywall or masonry), select an appropriate wall anchor system that can support your mounted antlers’ weight.

11. Hang mounted antlers: After installing wall anchors, hang your mounted antlers carefully using provided hanging hardware.

12. Level with care: Use a level to ensure that your mounted antlers are hanging straight. Make any necessary adjustments to achieve perfect alignment.

13. Show off your handiwork: Now that your antlers are mounted, invite friends and family over to admire your beautiful display and share stories about the memorable hunt that led to the acquisition of the antlers.

By following these simple steps, you too can create an impressive display of mounted antlers, bringing a touch of the outdoors into your home and preserving a cherished hunting memory.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
