How to Make Hibachi Noodles: 9 Steps

Hibachi noodles are a popular Japanese dish, perfect for impressing friends and family at dinner parties or enjoying as a delicious meal at home. With their unique blend of flavors and cooking style, these noodles are sure to be a hit. Follow these nine steps to create your own hibachi noodles.

1. Gather ingredients:

For this recipe, you will need:

– 8 oz dry udon or ramen noodles

– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

– 1/4 cup diced onion

– 1/4 cup sliced carrots

– 1/4 cup thinly sliced bell pepper

– 1/4 cup bean sprouts

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce

– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

– Salt and pepper to taste

2. Cook the noodles:

Prepare the udon or ramen noodles according to package instructions. Once cooked al dente, rinse the noodles under cold water and drain thoroughly. Set aside.

3. Prepare the vegetables:

Wash and slice the onion, carrots, bell pepper, and bean sprouts into thin strips. Mince the garlic and set aside.

4. Preheat the oil:

In a wok or large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

5. Sauté vegetables:

First, add the onions and carrots to the wok and cook for two minutes until they begin to soften.

Next, add the sliced bell pepper and garlic, cooking for an additional two minutes.

Lastly, add the bean sprouts and cook for one more minute.

6. Incorporate noodles:

Add the cooked noodles to the wok with the vegetables. Toss gently to combine.

7. Add sauces:

Pour in soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and oyster sauce into the wok, evenly distributing them over the noodles and vegetables.

8. Season with salt and pepper:

Season the hibachi noodles to taste with salt and pepper.

9. Plate and serve:

Transfer the hibachi noodles onto a serving plate. Enjoy your delicious homemade hibachi noodles with friends and family!
