5.For ‘To computers using’, check ‘Wi-Fi’.

7.With Internet Sharing highlighted, check the box next to it to start sharing.

8.Now connect your Apple TV to this newly created WiFi network.

 Option C: Using a Virtual Router on Windows

1.Subscribe and install a VPN service on your Windows PC.

2.Type “cmd” into the search box, right-click Command Prompt, and select ‘Run as administrator’.

3.Type “netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=NetworkName key=Password” replacing with your own network name and password.

4.Activate the virtual router with “netsh wlan start hostednetwork”.

5.Share your connection via ‘Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings’. Right-click your main internet connection and go to Properties > Sharing tab. Check ‘Allow other network users…’ and choose the new network you created.

6.Connect your Apple TV to this Virtual Router.

 Step 3: Connect Your Apple TV to the VPN

With either method above completed, all you have left is to have your Apple TV connected to that specific Wi-Fi network—the one connected through the VPN.
