If you’re a League of Legends player looking to improve your MMR (Match Making Rating), you’ve come to the right place! In this article, we’ll outline 10 steps to help increase your MMR and climb the ranks. By following these steps, you’ll not only become a better player but also gain the respect of your teammates and the admiration of your opponents.

.Understand your champion pool: Focus on mastering a small pool of champions instead of trying to play every champion in the game. By specializing in just a few picks, you’ll significantly improve your understanding of those champions and their matchups.

.Stick to your role: Choose a primary and secondary role and stick with them throughout your games. This ensures consistency in your performance and allows you to master those roles effectively.

.Keep track of the meta: The meta in League of Legends shifts constantly. Staying up-to-date with the current meta will help you stay competitive and give you an edge over players who don’t follow it as closely.

.Ward efficiently: Vision control is crucial to winning games. Make sure you always have wards available and place them in high traffic areas, such as enemy jungle paths or river entrances.

.Communicate with your team: Communication is key to success in any team game, including League of Legends. Use pings or chat messages to communicate important information, such as enemy summoner spell cooldowns, ward locations, or even just a simple “good job” when a teammate makes a good play.

.Learn from professional players: Watch how professional players play their games, especially those who play your preferred roles and champions. Take note of their decision-making, positioning, and strategies during their games.

.Practice last-hitting minions: Last-hitting is essential for maximizing gold income in the early game. By improving this skill, you’ll have more gold to buy items and gain an advantage over your opponents.

.Prioritize objectives: Objectives like turrets, dragons, and Baron Nashor are crucial to winning games. Focus on securing these while keeping an eye on your enemy’s movements.

.Stay positive and composed: Keeping a positive attitude can greatly impact the outcomes of your games. Always look for solutions and opportunities, rather than dwelling on mistakes.

.Analyze your replays: Watching your own replays is an excellent way to identify mistakes and areas for improvement. Spend some time reviewing matches where you struggled or were unsure of the correct decisions, and you’ll start making better choices in future games.

By following these ten steps, you’ll be well on your way to improving your MMR in League of Legends. Be patient and diligent in your practice – there’s no shortcut to success!
