The Taskbar in Windows 10 and 11 is a handy feature that enables users to quickly access frequently used apps, programs, and system settings. It also displays various notification icons, including the clock and date. The clock and date are useful for keeping track of time, but they can be distracting or take up too much space on the Taskbar. Fortunately, it’s easy to hide or show the clock and date based on your preference.

Here’s how to hide or show the clock and date on Windows 10 and 11:

1. Right-click on the Taskbar.

2. Click on the “Taskbar settings” option.

3. Scroll down to the “Notification area” section.

4. Click on the “Turn system icons on or off” link.

5. Toggle the clock switch to “Off” to hide the clock, or “On” to show the clock.

6. Toggle the “Show date” switch to “Off” to hide the date, or “On” to show the date.

7. Close the Settings app.

Alternatively, you can also hide or show the clock and date by customizing the Taskbar through the Taskbar properties menu. Here’s how to do it:

1. Right-click on the Taskbar.

2. Select “Taskbar settings.”

3. Click on the “Taskbar” tab.

4. Scroll down to the “Notification area” section.

5. Click on the “Customize” button.

6. Find the clock and date options.

7. Select “Hide” to remove the clock and date from the Taskbar, or “Show” to add them back.

8. Click “OK” to save the changes.

Whether you want to keep track of time or minimize distractions while working, these simple steps will help you hide or show the clock and date on Windows 10 and 11. So, customize your Taskbar and make it work for you!
