Hanging your diploma is an excellent way to show off your accomplishments and add a touch of professionalism to any space. Whether at home or in the office, diplomas deserve to be displayed proudly. Follow these seven steps to hang your diplomas with ease and create an impressive showcase of your achievements.

1. Choose the right frame: Select a high-quality, acid-free frame that complements both your diploma and your room decor. Ensure that it is a secure, non-glare frame that will protect your diploma from dust and fading over time.

2. Pick the ideal location: Find an area in the room with minimal direct sunlight and away from heating vents, as exposure to sunlight and changing temperature can damage the diploma. Consider hanging at eye level, so viewers can easily read and appreciate your achievement.

3. Measure carefully: Before installing any hardware, measure the width and height of the framed diploma and mark the intended hanging spot on the wall using a pencil or painter’s tape.

4. Install appropriate wall hardware: Based on the weight of your framed diploma, choose suitable hardware such as picture hooks, nails, or anchors to ensure it hangs securely on the wall.

5. Hang your diploma: Carefully attach wire or mounting brackets to the back of the frame as per manufacturer’s instructions. Align these with your chosen wall hardware, then gently lower the frame onto it until your diploma is hanging straight and even.

6. Level your diploma: Once hung, use a bubble level to ensure that your diploma is straight by placing it on top of the frame and adjusting accordingly. Small tweaks might be necessary for a perfectly horizontal display.

7. Enjoy and maintain: Step back, admire your handiwork, and invite others to share in your accomplishment! Regularly dust your frame with a soft cloth to maintain its pristine appearance.

By following these seven steps, you can hang diplomas with confidence, showcasing your hard-earned achievements and adding a professional touch to your workspace or home.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
